Abstract

The bachelor thesis is focused on multi-criteria assessment of current accounts. The aim is to select the optimal current account with multi-criteria assessment methods. The bachelor thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part focuses on characteristics of banking products and methods of multi-criteria assessment. Is done a characteristic of banking products and their classification of the various aspects, then are described bank accounts and their types, deposit insurance on accounts. More attention is devoted to current accounts, their characteristics and the foundation. In relation with the multi-criteria assessment are explained terms such as alternatives, criteria and criteria scales, described methods of determination scales and methods of alternative assessment. In the practical part is done a optimal choice of current account using methods of alternative assesment. First, are defined and described selected current accounts at various commercial banks, review criteria and their scales. Scales are determined by the sequence method, Fuller´s method, the method of scoring and Saaty´s method. Then is done a review of selected current accounts by the method of scoring assessment and the method of scaled scoring assessment. Summary review of current accounts is realized on the basis of method of scaled scoring assessment.
