Abstract

The Bachelor thesis deals with the low-frequency noise and its effects on the human body. In the beginning, the submitted Bachelor thesis deals with general informations in the field of acoustics and sound. In the following parts of Bachelor thesis the main attention is focused on the characteristics of infrasound, technique and devices for measuring and evaluation of low-frequency noise. There are mentioned ways of measuring the infrasonic waves, determining their acoustic levels, the frequency spectrum by frequency analysis, identifying and localizing sources of infrasound. The Bachelor thesis also contains design of possible real measurements (measurement of noise and monitoring of relevant indicators) – measuring string. Main findings of influence of low frequency noise (infrasound) on the human body that have been so far proven by research and studies are summarized in the conclusion of the Bachelor thesis.
