Mezi dvěma ulicemi – špalíček v srdci Příbora

Abstract

This thesis focuses on the design of a new block of houses in the historic centre of Příbor, on the site of today's parking lot between Zámečnická and Československé armády streets. The aim is to restore the original urban structure and recreate two separately identifiable streets, whose identity has currently been lost. The new block will feature a lively parterre with functions such as co-working and a coffee place, while the upper floors will offer housing. The work also includes the revitalization of the adjacent public spaces – in particular, the modification of the streets and pedestrian areas nearby.
