Analýza lineárního světlovodu z PDMS pro generaci bílého světla

Abstract

The aim of this thesis is to develop the solution for white light emitting lightguide as an alternative to conventional solution which is used in the automotive industry for couple of years. The conventional solution is based on interruption of total internal reflection of light distributed through body of the lightguide, which is essentially reflected out of optical element. The solution processed in this thesis for emitting white light equally through the lightguide is based on principle of luminophore absorption and emission. The ultimate goal is to come up with new solution for the car headlamps, which might keep same parameter of homogeneity, but better efficiency of transfer electrical power to luminous flux emitted in front of a car. In order to fulfil the assignment of this thesis it requires high power blue LED, Polydimethylsiloxan (PDMS), yellow luminophore, aid for manufacturing the lightguide, Thorlabs build kit, spectrometer, powermeter.
