Abstract

The purpose of the thesis is a brief evaluations and assessment of technologies for the implementation of biological reclamation in North Bohemian brown coal basin. The first part is focused on the development of remediation and reclamation procedures. In next part are evaluated overlying soils and rocks from the point of view of their usability for reclamation processes. Next part deals with the different types of the biological reclamation. It is primarily focused on technological processes of the reclamation, forestry, agricultural, hydrological and other types. The final part of the thesis is focused on the technical-economic and environmental benefits for the Slatinice and Komořanská areas, with emphasis on comparison of the economic benefits of natural succession application on 5%, 10%, and 20% of the reclaimed area.
