Regulace bankovního sektoru České republiky

Abstract

Cílem mé bakalářské práce bylo zjistit, zda současný bankovní sektor České republiky je stabilní. Využila jsem k tomu popis vývoje bankovní regulace a dohledu za posledních 19 let existence centrálního bankovnictví v České Republice. V práci popisuji jednotlivé funkce centrální banky, význam České národní banky v ekonomice a největší část je věnována popisu vývoje regulace a dohledu v České republice – zaměřila jsem se na změny v pravidlech regulace, legislativní změny, vývoj regulace ve vztahu k Evropské unii a na změny ve struktuře bankovního sektoru a došla jsem zde ke svému cíli. V období 1990 – 1992 vzniklo nejvíce bank, které se později dostaly do velkých problémů. Hlavní příčinou byla nedokonalost právního systému a funkce regulátora a dohlížitele se teprve vyvíjela. Tyto problémy byly řešeny dlouhá léta a do roku 2003 byl český bankovní sektor označován za nestabilní. Současný bankovní sektor můžeme označit za stabilní a neměla by ho významně narušit ani současná světová finanční krize.

The goal of my thesis was to determine whether the current banking sector in the Czech Republic is stable. I used to draw up a description of the development of banking regulation and supervision in the last 19 years of central banking in the Czech Republic. The work describes functions of central bank, the importance of the Czech National Bank in economy and the largest part is devoted to describing the development of regulation and supervision in the Czech Republic – I focused on changes in regulatory rules, legislative changes, regulatory developments in relation to the European Union and changes in the structure of banking sector and I came here to my goal. In the period 1990 -1992 originated most banks, which later entered into major problems. The main reason was imperfection of the legal system and functions of regulator and supervisor are still developing. These problems were dealt with for many years and until 2003 the Czech banking sector has been assessed as unstable. The current banking sector can be description as stable and it should not significantly impair either the current global financial crisis.
