This bachelor thesis is dealing with mapping and rating of external sources of fire water, which are currently officially registered as resources of fire water for water supplying for the district Tachov. These declared sources of water for fighting fires are evaluated from the point of view of usability with fire protection units depending on the technical and parametric conditions. According to the obtained results are compared with the legal and normative requirements. The result of this thesis are data and photographic documentation, which can effectively serve the fire protection units to identify the source of fire water during emergencies and also can serve as a basis for geographic information systems. In the conclusion part we can find a summary of the shortages of various external sources of firefighting water and suggested recommendations for their elimination.
