Návrh a posouzení variant odkanalizování obce Bohuslavice s důrazem na čerpací systémy a malou čistírnu odpadních vod

Abstract

This diploma thesis focuses on wastewater management in small municipalities, specifically on the design of a sewerage system for the village of Bohuslavice. Special attention is given to wastewater pumping systems and subsequent treatment in a small wastewater treatment plant. The thesis compares two different design approaches: a technically demanding solution required by the investor and an alternative proposal based on the practical experience of a project engineer. The variants are assessed from technical and economic points of view using standard-based calculations, field investigations, GIS data and variant evaluation methods. The main result of the thesis is a complete sewerage system design including pump sizing and a preliminary wastewater treatment assessment. The work highlights the potential risks of overly complex investor-driven solutions and demonstrates the importance of professional engineering judgement in sustainable wastewater infrastructure planning.
