Detekce oxidu siřičitého na termicky aktivním odvalu Heřmanice

Abstract

The Bachelor thesis refers to issues of Heřmanice Dump and leaking sulphur dioxide from the dump. The theoretical part deals with the issue of thermally active dumps, their classification and detailed description of Heřmanice Dump. The work also describes thermal processes, autoignition and subsequent remediation and reclamation of dumps. The next part discusses the properties of sulphur dioxide, its effects on human health and the environment, including the determination methods of sulphur dioxide. In the practical part describe the location Heřmanice, sampling methods and sample analyses. The results show that the concentration of sulphur dioxide in the air is not related to weather conditions and that it is not seasonal in nature.
