Abstract

Plywood belongs to the large categories of materials based on wood. They are formed by mutual bonding of large thin sheets of wood where the fibres directions of neighbouring veneers must be perpendicular. They are used for a broad range of use in building industry. The experimental part of my work is focused on the changing ratio of mechanical and physical properties of plywood by moist environment and temperature changes. There is a simulated environment, where plywood is used as a formwork surface. The selected properties of plywood were verified according to Czech Technical Standards (ČSN). At the end of my work the measured values are compared with the results of testing of uninfluenced specimens.
