The aim of the bachelor thesis is to compare domestic and foreign construction of platforms in terms of various criteria. From the results of our research the advantages and the suitability of the use of different constructions should be obvious. The first part of the study contains descriptions, tables with basic dimensions, schemas and pictures of selected constructions. The second part deals with the comparison. The last and most important part contains detailed drawings that can be used as the pattern for the design of the platforms. Existing platforms with the edge of less than 550 mm cannot be easily modified.
