Srovnání výše starobních důchodů v České a Slovenské republice

Abstract

The goal of my thesis is to characterize and compare the pension systems, the system of old-age pensions in the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic and to evaluate the evolution of the average amount of old-age pensions, the total amount of funds spent on old-age pensions, differences and common features in the calculation of pension. In the theoretical part the pension systems with a focus on old-age pension system in the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic are described. In the practical part the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic are compared by the method of comparison in terms of average amount of old-age pensions, spending on old-age pensions and the calculation of these benefits. The impact of demographic change on the system of old-age pensions is evaluated by the available data.
