Socioekonomický profil města Šenov

Abstract

This submitted bachelor thesis is dealing with creating a socio-economic profile of Šenov city. Socio-economic profile is the basic material for every other move in processing a strategic plan for a city. The aim is to characterize spheres of life in a city, that are significant for it´s further development. These are for example population characteristics, labor market, community amenities, technical infrastructure etc. In the conclusion of the thesis there are summarized the main findings of the current situation in the city by using the SWOT analysis. It´s purpose is to divide analytic findings into four cathegories – strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. The SWOT analysis forms the key output of the whole profile.
