Abstract
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to develop a business plan for the establishment of a restaurant and to find out if the opening and operation of the restaurant in Náměstí in Valašské Meziříčí can be realized. The elaboration of a business plan is a relatively large subjekt requiring knowledge in the fields of ekonomics, manangement, marketing, law and accounting. The thesis consist of two parts, partly theoretical and practical. The business plan is based on data obtained by analyzing the business environment, competition and future costs and revenues. A technical and economic analysis is carried out with financial conclusion along with the risk analysis of the project. Part of the thesis is company characteristics, overwiev of the most important suppliers, competitive analysis performed using Porters five competitive forces model and marketing mix. An integral part is also a financial analysis that includes an annual cost-benefit estimate, a profit and loss statement, and a final summary using the SWOT analysis. Fulfilling your business plan depends on many factors. If the economic, possibly legislative or political conditions, the introduction of new laws, regulations and conditions relating to restaurant operations or a change in human resources are not impaired, then the business plan submitted is real and fully viable.
