This thesis describes a wider range the Utilization of Helicopters in rescue and Clearance Operations. A particularly from the perspective of the integrated rescue system of the Czech Republic. The work is devoted to a detailed description of the allocation of legal norms, useful when using helicopters in the Czech Republic, a description of the technical and tactical characteristics of individual helicopters used for these purposes, the analysis of the functioning of the helicopters in the integrated rescue system of the Czech Republic and compared to systems used in other countries of the European Union. The target of this thesis is to evaluate the current system and its regulation, found its strengths and weaknesses and identify possible efficiency of the system.
