Abstract
The submitted diploma thesis was realized in cooperation with the INGETEAM Inc. It deals with the use of the concept of digital twins in the field of electric drives. The very concept of the digital twin was first briefly described and its use justified. Subsequently, complex models of Siemens Sinamics S120 inverters and their working mechanisms were created in WinMOD and MATLAB-Simulink environments. The results of the simulations were verified using real machinery sets.
