Dopady klimatických změn na městské prostředí

Abstract

This diploma thesis deals with the issue of climate change and its specific impacts on the urban environment. The theoretical part defines basic concepts in the field of climatology, analyzes the causes of anthropogenic climate change and identifies the main risks, such as heat waves, drought and torrential rainfall, which represent a significant security factor for the stability of cities. The practical part is focused on the analysis of the vulnerability and preparedness of a specific area, specifically the city of Brušperk. The aim of the thesis is to assess the current threats associated with climate change in a given location and to propose appropriate adaptation or preventive measures that would lead to strengthening the resilience of the city and ensuring the safety of its inhabitants.
