Abstract
The diploma thesis presents specific small ponds, the so-called "klausy", situated in protected landscape area Beskydy. A brief characteristic of the mentioned area is described at the beginning of the thesis. The following chapter, dealing with the relevant problems, comprises the issues such as the adaptation of higher located streams, i.e. mountain and submountain streams, or building ponds in a forest environment. The next part of the
thesis is focused on hydrological regime of the area dealing with the flow measurement of the streams. Further, it provides a characteristic of sediment runoff transporting and accumulating in an aquatic environment. The description of the individual "klausy" is primarily focused on hydrological data connected with the following hydrological measurement. Pictures, graphs etc. are inserted for visualisation. The last theoretical part of the thesis offers selected water quality indicators, providing the author's measurement
presented in charts.
