Abstract

The thesis is focused on the inventory management and analysis in company Autodoprava Jan Cielecký, which sales loose building materials. The first part of the thesis describes company characteristic. The following part concerns with theoretical knowledge explaining the basic concepts of inventories, logistics, inventory management, activity indicators and inventory analyses. Using the theoretical knowledge, an ABC and XYZ analysis methods, inventory turnover and stock insurance are used in inventory analysis section. Goal of the thesis is to propose optimal inventory management and possible improvements in the company Autodoprava Jan Cielecký based on result values from calculated analyses.
