Logistika výroby ve společnosti Krnovské opravny a strojírny, s.r.o.

Abstract

The goal of this diploma thesis is to propose work-in-process inventory optimization in the Krnovske opravny and strojirny, ltd. company. The thesis has two sections - theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part describes the logistics, inventory and lean manufacturing. The practical part begins describing logistics and production program of the company. In the next section there is an analysis the current stocks level and aims to work – in - process in connection with the production lead time and throughput. It also explains the method of planning and describes the dynamic scheduling as a tool for accelerating the throughput in production. In the last section, I propose recommendations to improve the current situation and explain their economic benefits.
