Abstract

MORAVEC, Jakub. Technical investigation and diagnostics of load bearing structures of the castle in Hrubčice near Prostějov. Ostrava, 2021 Diploma thesis. VŠB - Technical University of Ostrava, Supervisor’s name: doc. Ing. Jana Daňková, PhD. Diploma theses is focused on diagnosis and exploration of bearing structures of historical buildings. The work deals with construction and technical oriented exploration of historical castle Hrubčice. The building comes from 16th century and its technical processing and construction elements are from renaissance and baroque style. Its theorerical part is composed of detailed construction and technical oriented exploration of historical building. A brief description of renaissance and baroque architecture as well as individual designs construction elements from this historical periods can be found in here. Talking about its practical part, this contains detailed construction and technical oriented exploration during which the samples for delimination of mechanical and physical properties of building material were taken. The work also deals with static verification of historical roof on the basis of founded defects and failures on metal construction. Drawing documentation and designs of new utilization of the castle is included.
