Abstract
This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of electronic public administration. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to evaluate the level of eGovernment in the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic. The intention is also to compare the level of the economy, whether the level of eGovernment is related to it. Two hypotheses have been established, which are tested in this context. The theoretical part defines the basic concepts of the topic such as public administration, eGovernment and legislation relating to eGovernment. The level of eGovernment of the Czech and Slovak Republics is also compared in the context of membership in the European Union, therefore the observed period 2004-2019 is defined. The evaluation is performed by comparing selected indicators and indices EGDI, EPI and DESI and classifications of legislation. The output of the work is the fulfilled goal and verified hypotheses.
