The master thesis deals with the emergency drinking water supply. The first part describes the use of water supply systems for the supplies of drinking water to consumers in a standard environment and in situations caused by natural influences or anthropogenic events. Consumers are divided into persons, legal entities and critical infrastructure. Their needs are described in detail here. The second part describes the strengths and weaknesses of the current system of emergency drinking water supply. Furthermore, new possibilities for the solution of emergency drinking water supply and their variant applications are proposed here.
