Rám na zrcadlo inspirovaný obrazem od Vincenta van Gogha "Květ mandloně"

Abstract

The aim of this bachelor’s thesis is to design and produce a mirror frame inspired by Vincent van Gogh’s painting Almond Blossom. The theoretical part focuses on the artistic context of the work, the artist’s approach to color and symbolism, as well as the history of metal frame and mirror production. The practical part provides a detailed description of the entire process of creating a bronze frame – from sketching and model development to mold making, final casting, and surface finishing. The result is a decorative applied art object that combines artistic inspiration with traditional casting techniques.
