Abstract

This diploma thesis deals with using of diagnostical methods for evaluation of the current position of a small business. It is then followed by improvement suggestions. The aim of the thesis was to make a diagnosis of a company and then, based on the results, recommend the most appropriate strategy.

The main theoretical part of the thesis is preceded by so called preparative diagnosis in which the main parts of the business are evaluated. Based on the results, the next advance is decided upon. The theoretical part itself focuses on the concept of the Growth cube. The analytical part describes the individual cube´s squares and possible advance how to behave, in relation of the results. Then follows a complex of advice based on the previous findings and verifying the practicability using financial analysis. The proposed suggestion can help the business in the future when choosing the most appropriate strategy.
