Abstract

This bachelor thesis solves the issue of the usage of motor portable fire pumps for fire protection units. Through questionnaire survey in the Territorial department Nový Jičín is found in what actions are most commonly used these pumps. It will also be evaluated, for which fire protection units would be appropriate modernization of motor portable fire pumps for modern types of pumps or sludge pumps or floating pumps. The work also included the current range of motor portable fire pumps in the Central European market and made a selection of possible alternatives by using a multicriterial analysis of the pumps, which could replace the most widely used motor portable fire pumps PS 12.
