Abstract
The aim of this thesis is the analysis of the economy of one selected society. This work is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The second chapter describes non-profit organizations, their division, duties and their characteristics.
The third chapter focuses on accounting and taxes. The introduction of the fourth chapter describes the possibilities of funding sources for associations. The rest of this chapter deals with the practical part, which includes a ratio analysis and a subsequent evaluation of the financial situation of the selected association.
