The aim of this work is to find, compare and evaluate differences in the provision of free legal aid in the Czech Republic and in Slovakia. The second chapter of the work describes a system of free legal aid in the Czech Republic. To pointed facts about the entitlement to legal aid, this chapter also includes selected legal right to prevent a legal aid. A similar procedure was used in the third chapter, which describes the right to legal aid system and providing free legal assistance in Slovakia. One of the most important parts of the work is to compare systems in selected countries. This the author made out in the chapter 4, which highlights and evaluates differences in systems of legal aid services in Slovakia in comparison with the Czech Republic. The work helps in the understanding of theme and creates a new material about it because there are not so many of them.
