Abstract

The thesis focuses on Czech regional labour market disparities in all of fourteen regions of the Czech Republic. Its main goal is to compare the regions according to eight given indicators and assess their suitability for the labour market. All terms and definitions needed for understanding the context are described in the first part of the thesis. Multi-criteria decision is used to find an optimal region with application of Pattern method and Weight Sum Approach (WSA) method. From the results of these methods four regions were chosen to be subjected to further investigation. After final evaluation this region is determined, which appear to be the most promising for the labour market. All data are taken from the website of the Czech Statistical Office.
