Abstract

The thesis deals with the possible hydrothermal treatment of selected biomaterials and organic waste. It evaluates the potential sources suitable for use in the hydrothermal conversion process as well as the outputs that accompanies the process itself. In the theoretical part, there are defined suitable raw material resources, representing by various biomaterials available on the market and waste with significant organic content. The practical part is filled with a series of experiments where, under different conditions, selected samples of the hydrothermal conversion process are subjected under defined physical and chemical conditions. Outputs from the process are subjected to selected chemical and instrumental analyses, which further define areas of further use.
