Abstract
The aim of this thesis is to analyze the impact of wireless data transmission on the accuracy of physical workload assessment using EMG signals. The first part of the thesis describes methods and technical possibilities for monitoring working postures, with a particular focus on electromyography. Furthermore, the Shimmer Sensing platform, used for data collection during the experiment with participants, is presented. The experimental part focuses on EMG signal recording during physical activity, simulation of various types of data loss, and the design of an algorithm for their reconstruction. The results show that the proposed reconstruction algorithm enables effective signal recovery. This work thus provides a valuable contribution to applications in ergonomics, sports science, and healthcare, where wireless data transmission may be a limiting factor.
