Význam pojišťovacích zprostředkovatelů na pojistném trhu

Abstract

The aim of this diploma thesis is to find out whether the insurance agent is considered significant or not in the insurance market. Theoretical part of the thesis involves the definition of the basic terms such as insurance, risk, insurance industry, legal regulation and insurance agent. The steps of insurance agent´s activities are analyzed as well as supervision of those being provided. In practical part of the thesis, the practical activity of insurance agent is dealt with using the analytical, statistical and description methods. The last chapter is paid special attention to because it is devoted to the future changes of the legal regulation in this field. The results of investigation of different aspects are presented in the conclusion. As for the sources used when elaborating this thesis, mainly professional publications and updated legal regulations were used.
