Hospodářská krize v eurozóně a její dopad na změnu pravidel rozpočtové disciplíny

Abstract

My thesis deals with the economic crisis in the Eurozone and its impact on the change of budgetary discipline rules. The aim of my work is to analyse the impact of the economic crisis on the weakest states and the measures of the EU to change the rules of budgetary discipline. The chapters describe readiness of Greece, Spain, Portugal and Ireland for admission to the Economic and Monetary Union, the following fulfilment of the Stability and Growth Pact and the impact of the crisis on the Eurozone, especially on Greece and Ireland. Their economic process was totally different, however they both had to ask for a financial help. I have endeavoured for descriptive analysis and comparison of these two states. The last chapter relates the new strategies and mechanisms leading to tighten up on rules of budgetary discipline.
