Abstract

Prokop, Jiří: Family Housing on Klimkova Street, Bachelor Thesis, Ostrava, 2026, VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava, Faculty of Civil Engineering, Department of Architecture 226, number of pages 61. Supervisor: Ing. arch. Kateřina Riedlová. The content of this bachelor thesis is the development of project documentation for the new construction of a family housing building located on plot no. 2663/1 in the cadastral district of Slezská Ostrava. The resulting documentation corresponds in its scope to the requirements of Decree No. 499/2006 Coll., on documentation of buildings, as amended. The project directly follows an architectural study developed during the winter semester of the 2025/2026 academic year within the Design Studio course under the supervision of Ing. arch. Kateřina Riedlová. This concept was subsequently further elaborated and transformed into the form of a project for a building permit under the professional supervision of Marek Jašek within follow-up courses. The thesis includes a complete set of drawings according to the assignment. In the technical section, the author focuses in detail on the structural and architectural design of the internal staircase and the specific execution of the flat roof parapet (attic)
