Abstract
The main goal of this bachelor´s work is to cover topic: Increasing service life
of material P355N for pressure vessels. The subject of testing are two pieces of pipes
from Heat No 48358K and grade P355N according to CSN EN 10216-3.There was a chemical
analysis, subsequent testing, mechanical exams and metallography exams.
There have been calculations made, based on the data provided by the selected
company VÚHŽ. Based on the results of these tests the most appropriate type of material heat
treatment for production of pressure vessels has been determined.
