Bachelor thesis on the Faculty of Safety Engineering, VŠB - TU Ostrava, Department of Security Services, Supervisor of the bachelor thesis Ing. Libor Foldyna, Ph.D. This bachelor thesis deals with the evaluation of the current state of a security of the engineering company and a proposal for its improvement. In the introductory part of the work there is summarized the legislation and the theoretical basis of physical protection. The main part deal with the characteristic of the engineering company, the description of the surroundings and the assessment of the current status of physical protection. Through the analysis there are identified and assessed risks, based on which is then developed innovative security design, along with its price calculation.
