The bachelor thesis focuses on an innovative proposal to strengthen security measures at a specific primary school with the main objective of ensuring its physical security. The thesis starts with a theoretical definition of physical security and describes the basic pillars of physical security. Subsequently, statistical data of primary schools in the Czech Republic are presented. Furthermore, the selected primary school is characterized and its current security system is described. In the following part of the thesis, risks are presented which point out possible shortcomings in the physical security system of the primary school. In response to the identified shortcomings and in accordance with the recommendations in the standard /norm CSN 73 4400, a proposal for the upgrade of the physical security system is described in detail. At the end of this thesis a financial quantification of the innovative proposal is presented.
