Abstract
Additive manufacturing is highly researched topic in the field of materials production in last years. Many techniques of 3D printing also make it possible to print metallic materials.
Theoretical part of the diploma thesis is dedicated to the three main chapters. First, there are description of individual technologies of 3D printing and their applications are described. Following part deals with the basic characteristics of stainless and maraging steels. The last theoretical chapter is about degradation processes of metal materials, where the corrosion processes are described in detail.
The experimental part deals with chemical analysis of used powders and SLM printed samples, their microstructural analysis, investigation of surface properties and corrosion resistance of these samples.
