Průmyslové proměny Ostravy ve vybraných lokalitách

Abstract

Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na proměny vybraných průmyslových objektů v Ostravě. Objekty byly vybrány napříč průmyslovým spektrem a hlavním kritériem výběru bylo alespoň částečné dochování původního objektu. V práci je popsána proměna osmi budov v průběhu času. Veškerý text týkající se jednotlivých staveb je doplněn fotografickou dokumentací, která zachycuje dané proměny prostřednictvím historických a současných snímků. Dále je v práci popsána stručná historie města Ostravy, a také stručný technologický a průmyslový vývoj města. Součástí práce je mnou navržená odborná exkurze po vybraných a blíže popsaných lokalitách. Exkurze je určena pro studenty Vysoké školy báňské – Technické univerzity v Ostravě. V kapitole Odborná exkurze jsou stručně popsána jednotlivá místa a objekty, které by studenti mohli navštívit. Jedná se o sedm průmyslových lokalit a jedno muzeum. Exkurze by mohla být realizována v rámci výuky předmětu Technické kulturní památky, se kterým se studenti setkají v průběhu studia na Vysoké škole báňské – Technické univerzitě Ostrava.

This bachelor thesis focuses on the transformations of selected industrial structures in Ostrava. The buildings presented were selected from across the whole spectrum of industrial structures and the main selection criterion was that the original structure is at least partially preserved. My work deals with the transformations of eight buildings over the course of time. The text describing these buildings is accompanied with photographic documentation which depicts these transformations using historical and present-day photographs. My thesis also offers a brief history of the city of Ostrava as well as a brief description of its technological and industrial development. The thesis also contains my proposal for a specialist excursion of selected localities which are described in more detail. This specialist excursion was designed for students of VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava. The individual places and buildings which students might visit as part of this excursion are described in the chapter entitled Specialist Excursion and they include seven industrial sites and one museum. This excursion might take place within the course Technical Monuments and Cultural Heritage which is part of the students’ curriculum during their study at VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava.
