Abstract
My thesis is aimed at rolling steel bars 100Cr6 type of circular cross-section. Rolling took place in a laboratory rolling mill rods is located in the area of VŠB-TU Ostrava at the roughing mill. Samples with a diameter of 55 mm were rolled eight passing mode at a nominal diameter of 20 mm. The aim of the study was to assess the influence of each parameter rolled round bars on the possibility of achieving the highest finishing rolling temperature in conditions of the aforementioned rolling mill. Individual samples were forming under different conditions of rolling and these individual parameters are combined with each other. This is the length of the sample and his starting temperature, rotational speed roughing mill rolls, and possibly the introduction of interpass heating the material after the second pass for one minute. In these conditions to achieve the highest finishing rolling temperature of 884 °C at a sample length of 400 mm and starting temperature 1170 °C with a speed of rotation of the rollers stool 14-26 min-1 and introduced interpass heating the material in the preheated oven.
