Abstract

The aim of this dissertation thesis is to propose the calculation method of separate ventilation during excavation of tunnels and collectors. For this purpose, project documentation for ventilation of tunnels across Europe was collected and also the current legislation that regulates tunnel ventilation was analyzed. Based on these findings the methodical guide for designing ventilation during excavation of tunnels and collectors was proposed. This methodical guide will be serve as a guide for designers in order to simplify their work as there is not a similar guide in the current legislation that addresses this issue.
