Abstract

Sequestration of CO2 in deep aquifer formations is one of the attractive alternatives to reduce its atmospheric concentration. Prediction of hydrogeochemical effects of sequestration is crucial for planning an industrial or experimental injection of CO2 into geological formations. Purpose of this work was the investigation of the equipment corrosion by means of iron concentration change.
