Ověřování vlastností překližovaných desek pro aplikaci v detailech plochých střech

Abstract

Wood based materials are a frequently used construction material in civil engineering. These materials should be used in structures where humidity conditions can change such as the details of flat roofs, thanks to technological progress, higher-quality adhesives and hydrophobizing preparations. However, biological degradation still occurs in the form of mould. The first part of this bachelor's thesis deals about physical and mechanical properties of wood. The production, properties and application of wood based materials will be described in the next section with emphasis on plywood materials that are applied in flat roofs. The second part of the work is focused on the investigation of the moisture characteristics of plywood boards, which will be exposed to the effects of various simulated environments, which may arise during installation in the structure. Last but not least, the swelling of these boards is going to be verified.
