Abstract

The aim of this thesis was to study the IMS technology, which deals with the transmission of multimedia services. The first part describes the theoretical model of the IMS architecture, reference points and protocols used in IMS. In the second part is a practical solution implementations of IMS environment using Open IMS Core, which is used to testing basic transfers in IMS. First of all a description of the registration process, and transmission of voice and than to create complex structures for testing IMS peering between systems.
