Euroregion Silesia a jeho role v oblasti přeshraniční spolupráce

Abstract

The aim of this Bachelor Thesis is to explain the importance of cross-border cooperation and Euroregions and role of individual programmes for cross-border cooperation aid, such as Phare CBC, Community Initiative Programme INTERREG IIIA and Operational Program of Cross-border Cooperation. The partial aim of this Bachelor Thesis is to analysis of the Euroregion Silesia and analysis of the specific realized project and its contribution to the Czech-Polish border area.

The Bachelor Thesis is divided into five chapters. The second chapter focuses on issues of cross-border cooperation, the general definition of Euroregions, their role and importance in the European Union and the Czech Republic and also it describes the individual support programs for cross-border cooperation. The third chapter introduces Euroregion Silesia itself. The fourth chapter describes the implementation of the concrete project implemented in the Euroregion Silesia.
