This diploma thesis deals with the solution of specific slope instability at road II/486 in km. 15,9–16,0 in the locality of the village Mniší, where slope movements have been observed in the past.
Part of the model analysis is the stability of the original slope, which is followed by a model simulation of remediation measures designed by the company Dopravní projektování spol. s.r.o., which include an anchored negative retaining wall with reinforced concrete piles. The author designed an alternative remediation measure and performed its numerical analysis and comparison of the obtained results with the original designed variant. Numerical slope models
were created in the computer program Plaxis 2D (finite element method). The behavior of the rock material was characterized by Mohr-Coulomb's elastically ideal-plastic constitutive model.
