Karlovarské minerální prameny

Abstract

This text describes natural resouces in the town of Karlovy Vary and comprises elementary geologic facts regarding the origin of local thermal springs. In very details, the thesis depicts particular colonnades, their history, their current status and – of course – springs rising there. Indications and new methods targeted towards treating people are defined, including methods provided. Last chapters deal with the spa popular tourism. Data on visitors are indicated as well as proposals concerning the so called short- term guest who appear more and more - i. e. how to prolong their stay in Karlovy Vary.
