Abstract

The diploma work brings near the settlement system of healthcare in the Czech Republic outgoing from Bismark´s model of healthcare which is founded on obligatory health insurance. It features actual models of multisource funding used in the world. The net of health centres in the Czech Republic is introduced. The settlement system is specified by particular segments providing healthcare. The quality system in health service is mentioned in the work. Especially the financial situation in The Hospital and Policlinic of Havířov, allowance organisation is focused. It looks at differences consequent on legal form of business and of course the way of obtaining and utilizing of resourses. The work watches the developement of the hospital management in five-year time interval. The deep analysis of utilizing of treatment capacity and benchmarking is based on selected economical marks. There is found if the settlement of healthcare is accordant with real costs of healthcare. The work tries to point the concrete source of problems which the hospitals are forced to face.
