Abstract

In the first part of this thesis I described the history of operation and power station technology and firm characteristics. In the following chapter I made a list of dangerous technologies, where could lead under certain circumstances to leakage of dangerous gases and substances that are either an integral part of manufacturing technology, or directly the products of combustion of brown coal. I focused more on carbon monoxide, which in the operation represents the greatest danger. In the next chapter I described, as historical evidence , injuries and accidents, which occurred not only at power station Melnik. In Chapter 5, I described the basic knowledge and concepts in the detection technique, including assessment of market and distribution detection techniques into two groups. In concluding chapter I focused on the method of measurement of the atmosphere and I suggested some improvements in this area.
