Analýza postavení České televize z pohledu nezávislosti a cílů ve srovnání se Slovenskou televizí

Abstract

The aim of the diploma thesis is comprehensive evaluation of the independence of Czech Television and its comparison with Slovak public service television operated by Radio and Television of Slovakia. Furthermore, the diploma thesis assesses the fulfillment of the Czech Television’s basic objectives. The independence of Czech Television is evaluated in terms of its position in society, legal definition, management and funding. The ways of management election and sources of funding are compared with those at the Slovak public service television. The diploma thesis also includes an evaluation of public opinion survey on the independence of Czech television.
